HOW TO SUBMIT ATTACHMENT O FORMULA RATE DATA FOR ANNUAL TRANSMISSION RATE REVIEWS
Annually by May 1[1], Transmission Owners are required to submit to MISO populated versions of their applicable FERC-approved Formula Rate Templates (and supporting workpapers), used in determining their Annual Transmission Revenue Requirements (“ATRR”) calculations. MISO review of these ATRRs is required prior to inclusion in MISO Transmission Rates.

How do I submit Attachment O data to MISO for Annual Review?
SOLUTION
You must be logged into the MISO Help Center to submit Attachment O materials for your account(s). Once logged in:
- Click the “My Support” tab in the upper righthand corner of the page; this should display Cases that have been submitted for each Account that you are associated with.
- Select ‘Open a New Case’
- Choose applicable Account from drop-down list
- Select Category: ‘Attachment O Formula Rates’
- Select Type: ‘Submit Data for Annual Update Cycle’
- Select Change Type: 'Projection or 'True-Up' (applies only to Forward-looking TOs)
- Choose applicable Rate Year from drop-down list. (Note: this should be when the ATRR gets implemented into rates NOT necessarily the year of the underlying financial data used to populate the templates).
- Enter any additional information in the Description box provided.
- Click ‘Submit’
[1] Unless otherwise provided in a company-specific Attachment O formula. Refer to the Attachment O Formula Rate Protocols for a list of entities (and applicable submission dates) for entities that have requested (and FERC has approved) their usage of company-specific templates.
