How will my virtual bid (or offer) settle when it fills appropriately at the day-ahead (DA) ex ante price, but is uneconomic at the ex post price?
The DA ex post pricing process implements the extended LMP logic but will not affect the volume of energy cleared in the DA ex ante pricing process. There is a mechanism designed to address these types of situations.
